My website stores cookies, which are small text files, on your device.

I only use cookies that are essential for the website’s functionality. These include, for example, cookies from the WordPress web publishing platform.

For measuring visitor numbers and behavior, I exclusively use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies at all for visitor statistics. Visitors cannot be identified or tracked across different devices, and all visitor data is completely anonymous.

I do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels or heatmaps on my website.

I also do not use your visitor data for other purposes, such as internet advertising or social media. All anonymous and non-identifiable visitor data is only accessible to me (Nina Santaniemi) and the website’s administrator (Jaakko Santaniemi). The data is not shared outside the EU, as Plausible’s servers are located within the EU.

Since my website only uses cookies that are necessary for its operation and does not track visitor data using cookies, according to Traficom (The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency) and EU cookie guidelines, I am not required to ask for separate consent for cookie usage via a popup form.

However, in line with Traficom’s recommendation, I inform users about the use of essential cookies in the footer of every page and on this cookie page.

Also, no cookies related to social media channels are stored on your computer when you visit my website. If you click on a Twitter or LinkedIn link on the site, you will be redirected to the respective service, which has its own policies regarding cookies and privacy.
