Why coaching works?
A short answer: coaching makes people active and has a ripple effect. A coach doesn’t advice but asks.
People already have a lot of resources – strengths, experiences, skills – they can build on. When we tap into that and invest in their potential, people become more confident, solution-oriented, and prone to act independently.
An example of the ripple effect: when even one teammate starts to think and behave differently, the rest of the team will notice, learn, and model what they see. A leader can make a difference on the systemic level, which scales the effect.
